We're a team of 12 student engineers, programmers, and designers from St. Louis, MO — united by a love of robots and a drive to make a difference.
Our Story
Cafe Bot was founded in 2022 by a group of high school students who wanted to combine their passion for engineering with their love of community. The name? A nod to the coffee shop where the founding members first sketched out their robot ideas on napkins.
In just three seasons, we've grown from a scrappy rookie team to a consistent regional contender — earning the Rookie Inspiration Award in our first year and qualifying for the Missouri State Championship in our second.
But for us, robotics has always been about more than trophies. It's about the late nights in the shop, the friendships built over broken code, and the kids we inspire when we bring our robot to their school.
